Casa Cielo Cancún

My Mexican home for 12 days! The room is so big and clean, the Location is perfect Because its close to cancun center, all the stores and just 5 mins from the bus that drives to playas. It also has very nice Mexican restaurant just across the street with great Food! (La casa dos abuelos) The stuff is so nice and they helped us with everything we needed and recommended nice places to visit in Mexico. The accomondation looks Like in pics, kitchen is useful and always clean as Well. We also did the laundry there which was fastly Done, smelled great and was soft:) If I ever go back to Cancun, my Stay will def be Casa Cielo

Very nice place, calm and close to the center while being extremely safe neighborhood. Host lives there so easily accessible. Kitchen was great, so was the pool. The room was immaculate Cons : you need to take the bus/cab/uber because the center if far from the beaches and hotel zone, and access to ferry to Isla Mujeres etc

I stayed for 8 nights. Let me explain what to expect. If you are looking for a traditional hotel experience then this isn't it. If you're looking to be left alone because you're introverted like me then this place works. The pros: wifi, clean room, privacy. Location: easy walking distance from the mall and Walmart express. The park is right at the end of the street. There is an oxxo convenience store 3 mins walk away and several pharmacies nearby which is a big deal if your're here for dental work like me. Food: You are very close to several restaurants. First time visitors to the area will feel very comfortable at Cafe Nader and Los Tarascos. The drawbacks for some will be the level of privacy. Your room doesn't get cleaned while you're here. This doesn't bother me as I can take care of myself. I just take my own trash out and make my own bed like a normal person. One minor complaint is that if you show up and the cleaning lady isn't there you'll just have to stand outside till she shows up. Having a phone number posted outside to contact the owner would be useful. The cat is the full time concierge. The biggest complaint is the bait and switch tactic they use to avoid paying credit card processing fees. When booking online they take your card number and explain how they will charge for cancelation. Which shows that they can process your card if they feel like it. However, when you show up they insist on you paying cash and lie that they don't have the ability to process a card.
